The adventures of Elephant and Piggie continue in this beloved tale by Mo Willems. In this book, the two friends are about to begin a game of catch when someone new wants to join the game. There’s only one problem. The newcomer is a snake, and, as you know, snakes don’t have arms. The trio tries to come up with solutions so that the snake can join the game, and they finally come up with something that works! Join Elephant, Piggie, and their new pal for a hilarious journey to find a way for everyone to join in the fun!
My students adore this book, and, although it’s not great for read-aloud, I do recommend it to all of my kindergarten and first grade students. They can’t get enough Elephant and Piggie…or any Mo Willems books.
